Today I wanted to share my favorite natural makeup products with you. Finding natural products and alternatives isn’t always easy. In Europe, there are 1,373 harmful ingredients that are banned from cosmetics. Here in the United States, there are only 8 banned ingredients. This is why it is so important to be vigilant when choosing makeup to make sure that what we are putting on our faces isn’t full of toxic chemicals that will harm our health.
When I was cleaning up my cosmetics, I found posts like these so helpful. As a result, I am hopeful that this post can be an aid for someone else who is on the same journey of removing harmful chemicals from the things we put on our bodies. (Click here to see my Natural Travel Toiletries.)
Let’s get right into my Favorite Natural Makeup Products…
Yep! this is everything. Every single bit of makeup that I own.
It might not look like much, but it certainly gets the job done.
Rosewater Facial Toner | The Refill Shoppe
I use Rosewater on my face daily I’ve found that it helps to eliminate any eye puffiness. Rosewater helps to maintain your skin’s pH balance and its anti-inflammatory properties fight acne, dermatitis and eczema. Its antibacterial and antioxidant properties work to heal scars, strengthen skin cells, and prevent signs of aging. I also use it to set my makeup. Whenever I am using it, I notice a dramatic improvement in my skin’s softness, brightness, and clarity.
Natural Bio Correct Concealer (Shade: Fair) | W3ll People
This is the best natural concealer I’ve ever found. It goes on so smoothly and looks fantastic all day long. As a bonus, it actually depuffs, brightens and improves skin texture since it contains organic algae, coffee, pomegranate, and anti-aging peptides. The W3ll People Concealer is free from artificial preservatives, parabens, chemicals, dyes, fragrance, silicone, dimethicone, pthalates, sulphates, petroleum, talc, bismuth oxychloride, and nanoparticles.
Pressed Foundation (Shade: Sesame) | Alima Pure
This incredible foundation contains Rosehip Oil for its restorative and healing properties along with Evening Primrose Oil to moisturize and tone, Aloe Leaf Extract to sooth, and Argan Oil to revitalize and nourish. Its Calendula and Chamomile Flower Extracts are anti-inflammatory and protective. Alima Pure only uses the highest quality, and purest ingredients.
In addition, I love that Alima Pure sells refills so, when I run out, I don’t need to throw away my compact. Just order a refill, and I’m good to go.
Bronzer (Shade: Luster) | Mineral Fusion
Fruit Pigmented Blush (Shade: Berry) | 100% Pure
100% Pure is an organic cosmetics beauty firm that is completely free of all harmful toxins. All of their fruit-pigmented makeup are 100% cruelty-free and free of artificial colors, artificial fragrances, synthetic chemical preservatives, and all other toxins.
Setting Powder | Mineral Fusion
This product is amazing and it contains Rice Powder, Cocoa, Apricot, Peach, Coffee, Tomato, Black Tea, Lavender, Avocado Butter, Jojoba Oil, Rosehip Oil, Beeswax, Vitamin E, Vitamin A, and Vitamin C.
Pressed Eyeshadow (Shade: Instinct) | Alima Pure
This eyeshadow is all sorts of wonderful. Not only does it look fabulous, but it is hydrating and restoring my skin while I wear it. Avocado Oil hydrates and moisturizes while Jojoba Oil stimulates collagen production and Rice Powder is absorbent, soothing. Like my foundation, when I run out, I can order a refill to put in my empty compact.
Liquid Eyeliner (Shade: Raven) | ZuZu Luxe
Mascara (Shade: Onyx) | ZuZu Luxe
These are gentle, safe, and cruelty-free. Easy to apply and long-lasting. Not to mention, I also get more compliments and comments about my eyelashes when I wear this mascara than ever before. Hey. I’m not complaining.
Rosebud Salve | Smith’s
