Since Austin and I just moved to Omaha, Nebraska, we decided to take a road trip to Badlands National Park and the Black Hills of South Dakota for a weekend camping trip. Since our tent is currently in storage and we don’t have it with us during our nomadic journeys, we got a camp site at Cedar Pass Campground and made plans to just park and sleep in our rental car. Packing for the Badlands was a fun venture and, since I love peeking into others’ travel bags, here’s a glimpse into mine.
Here’s a look at everything I packed for our weekend in the Badlands and Black Hills…
I use my Medium BAGGU to pack toiletries and self care supplies.
This little bag holds everything and I love how easy it is to see inside of so there’s no rummaging. (I also adore the handle that keeps it from having to be set on wet countertops.) Inside this one is my rosewater toner, dry shampoo, natural deodorant, hair brush, shampoo bar (in its case), moisturizer stick, all-purpose goop, toothpaste, sunscreen, and lunette menstrual cup.
I certainly don’t typically put on a full face of makeup while camping, but since my everyday routine takes about five minutes anyway and I only have a very small makeup collection, the whole bag comes with me. (My all-natural makeup is from Alima Pure, Zuzu Luxe, 100% Pure, and Mineral Fusion.)
For clothing, I had to pack for warm days but also cold camping nights (and also a chilly tour of Wind Cave National Park.) As a result, I brought a total of 15 items.
