About the Poppy Anthology
“And mixed with these were splashes of California poppies. These too are of a burning color – not orange, not gold, but if pure gold were liquid and could raise a cream, that golden cream might be like the color of poppies.”
East of Eden | John Steinbeck
Established in 2016, The Poppy Anthology is a space of adventurers, lovers of beautiful things, and the curious-minded. It’s an anthology of words and collection of snapshots and just mere vignette of a life that is something beautiful and marvelous and wonderful.
“Let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.”
Matthew 5:16 ESV
I’m an explorer and a girl with an adventurous spirit. An old soul who is young-at-heart. I’m an INFJ who has been saved by Grace and was born and raised in Southern California. After getting married to my husband, Austin, I moved with him to Chicago and a year later we packed up our suitcases, left our apartment behind, and began traveling the country and living a nomad life. Currently we’re moving every few weeks and scouting out new places and meeting new people. I view life as a beautiful adventure and I love natural living, old books, warm drinks, good food, striped socks, geekery, open windows, long hikes, disney movies, beach days, road trips, and interesting people.
