As of today, it’s been two years since the love of my life got down on one knee in the sand, gave me a ring, and asked me to be his wife.
And I said yes.
It was an evening of a magical beach sunset, a sonnet in a glass bottle, a cozy bonfire, and family togetherness. That evening was the beginning of the eight months of our engagement and of preparing for our wedding, but it was the start of something more than that too; a lifetime of companionship, adventures, and growing together in Christlikeness as we strive to honor Him with our marriage and be a living reflection of Christ and the Church.
God has truly blessed us with a relationship of light, laughter, and love and it’s my earnest and heartfelt prayer that all of our coming years together are characterized by the same.
“I love you with so much of my heart that none is left to protest.”
-Shakespeare; Much Ado About Nothing (Act IV, Scene 1)
